Bath Racecourse’s popular Light Up Lansdown fireworks display and bonfire night will return on Friday 1st November, set to songs from some classic Disney films.
This year’s event is set to be bigger and better than ever before, as the fireworks display will be set to music for the first time.
Now in its fourth year, the annual ‘Light Up Lansdown’ firework show attracts more than 5,000 people.
Alongside the 10-minute-long fireworks display set to a blockbuster Disney soundtrack, there will also be a huge bonfire and funfair for people to enjoy, as well as a variety of food and drink, including bonfire-night favourites.
Jo Hall, Executive Director of Bath Racecourse, said: “We wanted to do something different for this year’s Light Up Lansdown fireworks display and bonfire night and felt that setting the spectacular fireworks display to music for the first time would make the night even more magical for our customers.
“Disney music was an obvious choice with so many brilliant songs to choose from. People can expect to hear songs from Disney-favourites The Lion King, Frozen and Beauty and the Beast – to name a few – and I’m sure parents as well as the kids will be singing along.
“To make the night more of an event, there will also be a funfair and huge bonfire before the main event – the Fireworks display – gets underway.
“We also really delighted to have charity, Crimestoppers, sponsoring the night once again.”
Tickets for Light Up Lansdown are now on sale. Tickets bought in advance cost £4 for children (under 18s) and £6 for adults with special Family Tickets (two adults and two children) available for just £15. All tickets include free parking.
