The large free car park used by people catching trains from Keynsham Station is to close for two weeks.

The car park will close for two weeks on Sunday, 15th June

The car park at Keynsham Road holds around 100 vehicles.

Notices were placed on vehicles in the car park on Tuesday, 10th June, advising them that “remedial works” are due to start on Monday, 16th June and they will have to make “alternative parking arrangements”.

The letter is signed by GreenSquare Estates, which manages the car park, and says the works are being carried out in conjunction with Taylor Wimpey which owns the site, and plant and construction company MD James.

The letter says the works are expected to take up to two weeks, and the car park will be closed for this period.

“We will be locking the car park on Sunday 15th June ready for works to commence the following day so please ensure your car is removed by 18.00 on Sunday 15th June.”
