Bath charity Julian House is once again inviting companies in and around Bath to put their knowledge to the test in the upcoming “Brain of Bath” event.

Taking place on Thursday 13th October, 24 teams will battle it out in the charitable quiz.

Now in its 21st year, the event will see teams compete for the coveted Brain of Bath trophy through ten rounds of challenging and fun questions at the Assembly Rooms.

Rounds include a variety of tricky topics and feature the fun and unique ‘smells round’.

Organiser Matt Redmore said: “We are absolutely delighted to be running the Brain of Bath again this year. This is always a popular event and teams have a great time. Last year we sold out our limited capacity despite the uncertain circumstances.

“The event is a great opportunity to team-build, provide a night of entertainment for clients and demonstrate your values, your organisation’s social values and commitment to Corporate & Social Responsibility.

“By attending, teams are helping us to continue our vital work supporting vulnerable people in Bath and across the South West.

“We are very grateful for the support of local businesses who attend and for that of Battens Solicitors and the Battens Charitable Trust who are very kindly sponsoring the event.”

The Head of Commercial Property at Batten’s Bath office, Patrick Mears added: “Battens Solicitors and the Battens Charitable Trust are delighted to be the main sponsors of the prestigious Brain of Bath event.

“Julian House is highly regarded in Bath for the valuable role the charity plays in the city in improving the lives of homeless and vulnerable people.

“The BCT has supported the Brain of Bath quiz in the past and we look forward to taking part again in what is always an outstanding fundraising  evening and great fun for all those involved.”

Entry is open now for up to 10 people per team, and tables can be booked on Julian House’s website. Early booking is recommended.

The entry fee also includes a light supper from caterers Searcys.

For smaller companies, there’s also the scope of booking half a table and joining another team.

You can sign up for the event here.
