Crest Nicholson Regeneration welcomed hundreds of people to the new Elizabeth Park last Friday, 26th July, as part of the official opening at the Bath Riverside development.
Last Friday’s Party in the Park marked an important milestone in the development of Bath Riverside.
Hundreds of people visited the park throughout the day, enjoying the new open space along with a selection of art installations, and an open-air showing of The Greatest Showman in the evening.
Bath Riverside’s very first apartment owner Denise Medley cut the ribbon to officially open the park, which creates a landscaped open space between the flagship Royal View and Sovereign Point buildings and runs alongside the busy riverside path.
Crest Nicholson Sales & Marketing Director Marcus Evans said: “The launch went really well and visitors were delighted with the new art installations, which add some real character to the landscaping around the buildings.
“We showed a number of people around the apartments and made some interesting connections.
“This is the latest milestone in the Bath Riverside development, which has transformed a derelict waterfront site and created a genuine destination for residents and visitors alike.
“We believe we are playing a key part in creating a new residential address for the city complete with commercial and leisure opportunities.”
Named by public demand, Elizabeth Park will give Bath Riverside a large open space to visit beside the Avon, and improve the scenic route for residents and the general public to and from the city centre.
“People seem to have taken the new park to their hearts – and we received many positive comments from members of the public and stakeholders.
“We are confident Elizabeth Park will become the vibrant, beating heart of our development.”
