The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity have launched a range of fun and affordable gifts available to buy on their website, which would make the perfect stocking fillers this Christmas.
The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) cover the counties of Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, North Somerset and parts of Wiltshire.
As well as their helicopter, they also have two rapid response vehicles. The team focus on getting their critical care team to the scene of an incident as quickly and effectively as possible, and then taking the patient to the best hospital for their needs.
From fundraisers to highly skilled pilots, paramedics and senior consultants, the charity are a team, working to save lives that would otherwise be lost.
GWAAC receive no day to day funding from the Government or the National Lottery. That means they rely entirely on the generosity of the people they serve to raise the £2.6million they need a year to stay operational.
