A one-day grassroots festival celebrating independent authors, local creatives, and small businesses will be taking place in Bath on Saturday, 21st March.

The Literary Escape Festival, which will be at Percy Community Centre in New King Street, is part of a UK-wide touring series in 2026, championing independent literature, creative makers, and accessible cultural experiences for communities across the country.
Laura Ruddock, organiser of the Literary Escape Festival, said: “It’s a day for readers, writers, and makers to come together, discover new voices, and enjoy creativity and community.”
