Better Bath Sports and Leisure Centre has announced the completion of an extension which now gives their customers access to a dedicated functional fitness area of the gym.

The latest investment comes as the management team at the centre collated customer’s feedback.

The gym extension includes brand new kit which includes Kettlebells, Bulgarian Bags, Battle Ropes, Medicine Balls, Sand Bags, Push Up Grips, Plyometric Jump Boxes and Tyres.

The leisure centre is hoping to purchase more equipment in the coming weeks.

The gym has also been reorganised and the fitness team plan to create brand new functional fitness classes on its weekly timetable too.

Barnaby Rich, General Manager at Better, Bath Sports and Leisure Centre said: “We are delighted to have opened our new Functional Training area at Better, Bath Sports and Leisure Centre.

“We have listened to our customers who have expressed a desire for larger free weight and functional training spaces and this development allows to do just that.

“We hope to develop these facilities with more equipment and welcome feedback from our members on what they would like to see.”
