Firefighters at the Hicks Gate Fire Station near Bath will have buckets and sponges at the ready as they take part in a charity car wash this weekend, helping to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity.

The fundraiser takes place from 11am until 3pm on Saturday 4th June at the new fire station on Durley Hill, Keynsham.

Crews will be raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity which provides support services and treatment to serving and retired members of staff from UK fire and rescue services.

Money will also be raised for Bristol Rugby Community Foundation which helps young people in Bristol make positive choices in their life.
