A primary school in Bath has received a cash boost from house builder Bellway to help fund its upcoming family fun day, taking place this Saturday 6th July.
Bellway, which is building new homes at Mulberry Park in Combe Down, presented Mulberry Park Educate Together Primary Academy with a cheque for £100, which will go towards the cost of the day.
The free event, which will take place between 10am and 1pm, is open to the public and will include a range of activities, such as face painting, arts and crafts, donkey petting, rugby coaching, a cake sale and much more.
Head Teacher of Mulberry Park Educate Together Primary Academy, Emma Garnett, said: “We are delighted to be working with Bellway and for their kind donation towards our family fun day.
“As a new school we are keen to work with the local community and hope that our family fun day will provide a fun opportunity to bring people together.”
Rachel Way, Sales Manager for Bellway South West, added: “We are committed to working with local schools, community groups and charities within the areas in which we build new homes.
“We are proud to be supporting Mulberry Park Educate Together Primary Academy’s family fun day, and we hope that everyone involved has a great day out.”
Bellway is currently building a selection of two-bedroom apartments, as well as four and five-bedroom homes at Mulberry Park.
