The city’s Victoria Art Gallery will host Myths and Monsters, a colourful celebration of children’s book illustration, with accompanying monster-themed activities.

The Fashion Museum will have a crafty Tinsel Toes session linked to the Shoephoria! exhibition, and young visitors to the Roman Baths will be able to follow a special trail, searching for Sulinus the Stonemason as they explore.

Councillor Dine Romero, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, Communities and Culture at Bath & North East Somerset Council, said: “There’s lots for families to look forward to in our museums over the festive season, including the brilliant Myths and Monsters exhibition, plus crafty activities and trails.

“Admission to the museums is free for Bath & North East Somerset residents, but it’s advisable to book online in advance.”

All activities are suitable for children aged three and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
