Victor da Cunha raised a total of £1,836 for Time is Precious, which is Curo’s charity of the year.

The charity’s director, Nicky Halford, said: “This amount is a massive boost for our family-run charity and means we can continue helping poorly children and their families by making life more comfortable and fun in hospital and at home. Thank you for your continued support.”

Time is Precious aiming to create a more comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for children and their families while in hospital or at home.

The charity was set up by Neil and Nicky Halford in memory of their son Ben who sadly died from cancer in 2010.

He was cared for at Bristol Children’s Hospital, Frenchay and the Royal United Hospital’s children’s ward for almost four years.

Victor added: “A huge thanks goes to everyone who donated money and helped to raise money for such an important local charity.

“I am so proud of the money my colleagues at Curo have raised for Time is Precious.”
