This Friday, 4th October, residents across Bath will be able to meet experts from over thirty local organisations providing services across and beyond the city.
The ‘At Your Service’ event, organised by housing association Curo, will take place between 10am and 2pm at Green Park Station in Bath.
The free drop-in event will feature organisations providing care and support, health and wellbeing services, training, education, job opportunities and apprenticeships, advice on energy bills and finance, children’s services and much more.
Andrea Wyithe, Marketing Coordinator of Curo’s Independent Living Service, said: “We decided to hold this free event at the buzzing Green Park Station by Sainsbury’s so that local people could stop by to find out more about the fantastic range of services on offer in our area.
“Friendly and knowledgeable colleagues from Curo’s Independent Living Service will be on hand to chat about how we can help people stay independent in their own home.
“Visitors will be able to talk to representatives from Curo, Alzheimer’s Society, St John’s Foundation, Bath University, Bath College, Grow for Life, Healthwatch B&NES, Bath CAB, B&NES Council, BA1 Radio, Bath City Farm, Virgin Care, Avon Fire & Rescue and many, many other local organisations, all under one big roof. There’ll also be free activities thanks to Bath Sports Centre.”
