Supporters of Bath City Farm are celebrating after it achieved its crowdfunding goal of £40,000 to help sustain the charity for the future.
The farm, based in Whiteway, began the crowdfunding campaign on 24th July in a bid to meet rising costs, grow its services for the community, help to maintain its 37-acre site and keep the farm free to access.
The money raised, which is just under £41,000, has come from donations from supporters and the public in just over five and a half weeks.
Match funding has been provided for the campaign by the Aviva Community Fund.
Bath City Farm’s communications lead Alison Howell said: “Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, supported, and shared news of our crowdfunder campaign.
“We know that it is a challenging time, so this represents a remarkable achievement.
“The money raised will make a real difference to the Farm and the many hundreds of lives it touches. “
The crowdfunder remains open to donations. You can donate here.
