Organised by firefighters from Blue Watch Bath, the car wash will be held from 10am until 4pm at Hicks Gate Fire Station in Keynsham, with staff from across the service on hand to get your vehicle sparkling clean.
Matt Parsons, a firefighter on Blue Watch, expressed his passion for the cause, which will be raising money for a bike ride from Bath to Paris in support of Cancer Research UK.
He said: “We’re taking on this challenge to Ride Against Cancer in support of all those who have and will experience this cruel disease.
“Come along and support us on the day and donate and follow our trip in September here.”
In September, a team of riders will cycle from Bath to Paris on a ‘Ride Against Cancer’.
The car wash will raise funds for this trip across to Paris, as well as for The Fire Fighters Charity.
Matt Parsons’ wife was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 36 years old.
