Bristol Water are carrying out repairs to a burst water main in Wellow High Street from today, Monday 24th February, until Wednesday.
A section of the road is closed from a point outside the property known as Hilltrough.
There is a signed diversion via the remainder of the High Street, Wellow Road, Wellow Lane, the A367, Combe Hay Lane, Mill Hill, Bath Hill, High Street and vice versa.
Access is being maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the work
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
The road closure is anticipated to be required for three days but the closure notice issued by Bath & North East Somerset Council covers up to seven days.
