Plans to turn a former charity shop in the city centre into a one-bed flat have been submitted to Bath & North East Somerset Council.

The application relates to Mint at 12A Manvers Street.
It had been run as a charity shop on a voluntary basis by the owner since 2015, but had been open increasing less often before it closed last year.
The planning application says the shop has not operated on a commercial basis for many years.
The unit is on the ground floor and there are flats above and in the basement.
Included with the application is evidence from three separate commercial agents who have declined to market the premises, indicating it is not logically viewed as a shop.
The planning reference is 24/01756/FUL. The deadline for comments is 20th June.
