This Saturday, Alex Lovell and David Garmston will be joined by BBC local radio’s Claire Carter, Ben Prater and Geoff Twentyman in a half-time kicking challenge at Bath’s Recreation Ground.

Points West’s Alex Lovell and David Garmston, with Freddie Burns

They’ve been tasked with holding their nerve in front of nearly 20,000 spectators in the match with Sale – and to land a penalty kick.

They’ve all been undertaking their own personalised training regime for this challenge. Alex and David recently visited Bath’s training complex at Farleigh House where they were given some expert tuition by Freddie Burns.

To support them with the challenge and to donate £5 to Sport Relief just text the word BALL to 70205.

Texts cost £5 plus your standard network message charge and 100% of your donation will go to Sport Relief.

You must be 16 or over and please ask the bill payer’s permission.

For full terms and more information, visit www.bbc.co.uk/sportrelief.

All the money raised will help vulnerable people all over the UK and around the world to live happier, healthier and safer lives.
