Firefighters from Bath’s Fire Station dealt with a small fire in the kitchen of a house in Upper Lansdown Mews, Lansdown on Wednesday evening, after they were called at around 7.30pm.
Crews used an aquapack, which is portable water source, to extinguish the small fire affecting wooden beams in the kitchen.
It’s thought the fire started accidentally as a result of an electrical fault involving a cooker.
More than 50% of all accidental house fires attended by Avon Fire & Rescue Service start in the kitchen.
