Bath Ales has announced the launch of regular ‘Meet the Brewer’ open days at its state-of-the-art Hare Brewery near Bath.
The first event will be held tomorrow, Saturday 7th August.
The “immersive experience” at the site in Warmley will take place on the first Saturday of each month, offering beer lovers the chance to go behind the scenes at Bath Ales and discover how its popular beers, including Gem amber ale and Lansdown IPA, are crafted.
Guided by a Bath Ales brewer, visitors will be able to view the technology and equipment used, and learn all about what goes into making beer, from grain to glass.
The tour comes complete with a taste test, presenting the opportunity to sample a range of fresh premium beers, including familiar favourites and new brews, as well as food pairings.
Will Hartley, Production Manager at Bath Ales, said: “We’re delighted to be offering visitors an immersive experience at Hare Brewery that will provide a fascinating insight into the art of brewing, led by an expert from our team.
“It’s a chance for anyone who loves beer to gain an understanding of the hard work and skill that goes into each step of the brewing process.
“There’s a great deal more to a pint of beer than meets the eye – and we can’t wait to show you.”
Brewery tours will run throughout the day from 11.30am to 3.30pm.
Bookings for the tour or the taproom should be made in advance via the Bath Ales website at www.bathales.com.
