More than 2,000 people attended the Peasedown St John Party in the Park summer festival on Saturday 14th June, despite the rain.

Sponsored by St John’s Church, Curo, Radfield Home Care, Bath College and Bath & North East Somerset Council, revellers enjoyed more than seven hours of live music and entertainment at Beacon Field.

There were also stalls and attractions, a dog show, hot food, and the return of the Peasedown Diamond cider.

Peasedown St John’s local councillors Karen Walker and Gavin Heathcote thanked everyone who supported the festival, saying: “It’s been fantastic to see the event grow over the last 16 years.”

The stage and entertainment line-up this year was managed by Reaper Events and Radio Bath.

At the party, the Peasedown St John Community Civic Award was presented to Chris Champion, who for the last 25 years, has helped keep the village clean and tidy.
