The City of Bath College is gearing up for the new academic year with something for everyone on offer.

From September, the College will be offering its widest ever range of courses, with a choice of flexible learning options to suit people’s busy lifestyles.

The College prides itself on meeting the needs of the community with full-time, part-time, one-day and residential courses available.

There are both academic and vocational courses across different ability levels, from introductory courses to learn the basics to advanced courses in practical work skills and training for a number of professions.

For example, professional qualifications in accounting, management, marketing, public relations and law will put you in a stronger place to ensure your future success.

The College has also expanded its popular Love2learn programme and now offers more than 150 short and one-day courses.

Students tell us they love to come to College to learn new things for fun, as well as courses to help them with life and work.

The College is running firm favourites such as art, craft, photography and cooking, as well as plumbing, woodwork and holiday languages.

New part-time courses on offer also include vampire studies, which looks at vampirism in all its forms from cult viewing to real-life cases, and a series of courses on website design.

Principal Matt Atkinson said he was looking forward to continuing to serve the community in the 2013/2014 academic year.

He said: “The College is highly committed to learning, training and development.

“We have a wide range of courses on offer and I am sure you will find the right course for you.”

The College, which opened in the heart of Bath in 1892, has around 2,000 full-time and more than 6,000 part-time students.

It recently received its highest inspection rating in an overwhelmingly positive Ofsted report with inspectors grading the College as good with outstanding features.

To find out more about the courses on offer, download a prospectus from the website www.citybathcoll.ac.uk.

If you enrol online for a Love2learn course, you get a 10 per cent discount. City of Bath College also rewards learner loyalty if you have previously completed a course at the College.
