Here’s your guide to this year’s Bath Christmas light switch on with Bath-born Mary Berry taking to the stage to greet thousands of local residents.

Programme:

5.30 – 6pm – Compered by Imogen Sellers with local bands and a choir, all in aid of the RUH’s Forever Friends Cancer Care Appeal.

5.30pm – City of Bath College student band, Too Much Lipstick.

5.45pm – Bath based Vocal Works Gospel Choir.

6.15pm – Mayor of Bath, Councillor Malcolm Lees and the Chair of Bath & North East Somerset Council, Councillor Neil Butters welcome Mary Berry.

6.30pm – Christmas light switch on countdown.
