Bristol-based artist Laura Kidd has launched a social media appeal to find her guitars which were stolen in Bath on Wednesday.
Avon and Somerset Police are also now appealing for information to trace the two valuable electric guitars that were stolen from a car while it was parked in Bath.
They were taken overnight on Wednesday 5th – Thursday 6th February from Nelson Villas.
Both instruments were in Mono guitar cases, pictured above, the guitar in the black version and the bass in a steel grey coloured style.
The guitar, which Laura had only bought the previous week, was a Gibson Les Paul Studio 2014 with a black glitter finish. The serial number of the instrument is 140014847.
The bass, a Fender Precision, American Standard model 2012, was sunburst with a black scratch plate and maple neck. The serial number is US12135456.
The guitars are said to be in such good condition that they could be sold as new to any unsuspecting buyer.
