Wessex Water, based at Claverton Down, is opening its doors later this month to potential new apprentices with a showcase of careers on offer at its Bath headquarters.
The company is holding its annual apprenticeship open day on Saturday 25th November and is looking to recruit people in both its technical and office-based departments.
The open day will consist of learning about the different roles, speed interviews with managers, talking to existing apprentices and exploring the advanced technology used at the company.
Wessex Water will also be showing off its new Igloo – a virtual, immersive 360° virtualisation unit. This state of the art technology is being used for the £38 million refurbishment at the Durleigh treatment works reservoir.
Event organiser Liberty Howe, a current apprentice from the human resources team at Wessex Water, said: “Our employees are at the heart of the business and training, and development is a huge part of the culture here.
“From personal experience, I know the apprenticeship open day can be a fantastic insight into how things work at Wessex Water and which roles are available to apprentices.
“I’d encourage anyone who knows someone potentially looking for an apprenticeship to bring them along.”
Doors will be open from 9.30am to 2pm. For more information or to book a place, visit www.wessexwater.co.uk/apprenticeships.
