Bath-based Wessex Water has launched a special recruitment campaign that will create more than 100 job roles over the next six months.
The campaign is predominately aimed at young people who are looking to enter the water industry, but will also create some opportunities for experienced workers.
Wessex Water’s early careers manager Becca Thurston said: “At a time when many are worried about a generation of young people missing opportunities, we’re proud to have taken the approach to invest in our future, not just as a business, but as a community.
“Positions include apprenticeships, industrial placements, graduates and the government’s new Kickstart scheme. Many of our positions and placements don’t require qualifications, or experience, so we encourage everyone to take a look and see what is available.”
The first recruitment window will close on Wednesday 31st March. The current vacancies include 29 apprenticeships, 45 kickstart placements, 13 graduate roles and 13 industrial placements.
