Visit Bath to relocate from Abbey Churchyard to Bridgwater House on Terrace Walk

Visit Bath are relocating from Abbey Churchyard in Bath, taking new premises at Bridgwater House on Terrace Walk to provide the Bath Visitor Information Centre services.

The Bath Visitor Information Centre offers expert advice and information to visitors and residents alike on Bath and the surrounding area .

The new Visitor Information Centre will also have an enhanced retail offer, including a substantial online shop and enhanced ticketing and tours options.

VisitBath (trading name of Bath Tourism Plus Limited) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Council responsible for the promotion of the UNESCO designated World Heritage Site of the City of Bath to both domestic and international visitors, as well as for the surrounding areas, towns and villages, both in and around the BANES region.

Les Redwood, Head of Business Development and Partnerships at Visit Bath said: “We are extremely pleased to conclude this deal on our amazing new facility at Bridgewater House, which will help us add in many new services for our members, partners and BANES residents alike.

This is a great step forward into a new way of working for Visit Bath, which will help us to ensure the long term future of the company.

The new lease is for a term of 15 years with 5 yearly reviews and tenant only break clauses. Colston & Colston LLP represented the Landlord, Bath Tourism Plus were represented by their in house management team.

Allan Lloyd of Colston & Colston LLP added: “Our client is retiring, having occupied the premises for many years as a hair and beauty salon, and required steady income going forward from a robust tenant, which we were delighted to secure.

“That said, following the letting we are now considering disposing of this asset on behalf of our client and any interested parties should contact us on 01225 904704 to discuss availability.”
