Visit Bath has launched a new food-focused directory, which will be a one-stop source for residents and visitors looking for inspiration and information on eating and drinking in Bath.
The new landing page – visitbath.co.uk/feast – is the focal point of the Feast in Bath campaign and has been supported by the Bath Business Improvement District (BID).
The site not only features listings and an interactive map of food and drink providers, but also includes foodie events, news, special offers, blogs and recommendations.
Neil Priscott, Head of Marketing, Visit Bath said: “The Feast in Bath campaign, which will run all year round, highlights just how diverse and vibrant the city’s food and drink scene is.
“Visit Bath’s website is the only online platform offering such a comprehensive guide to food and drink in the city.
“It is a sector of Bath which is continually growing and therefore extremely important to the local economy; from afternoon tea in iconic Georgian buildings and contemporary world cuisine from independent restaurants and cafés to a growing number of vegetarian and vegan businesses opening in Bath.”
The new campaign and Feast in Bath landing page also mark the launch of a month of ‘£10 Feast’ dining deals across the city during October.
From a Mediterranean meat and cheese platter with a glass of wine at The Italian Food Hall to a light lunch at Lucknam Park, or a burger, fries and soft drink at Green Park Brassiere, there are a variety of £10 deals to choose from. A food and drink guide can also be downloaded from the page.
Visit Bath will be targeting food-lovers both locally and across the UK, showcasing Bath as a culinary destination for tourists, as well as aiding residents in finding the perfect place to dine.
The handy interactive map allows users to search all 234 food and drink providers in the city, filtering by criteria such as cuisine, budget and dietary requirements.
This will be promoted online through Google ads and social media, helping the page to reach a wide audience of hungry visitors.
