Royds Withy King introduces Bath lead partner at annual ‘Meet the Team’ event

Bath law firm Royds Withy King recently hosted a ‘meet the team’ event for over 100 guests to thank them for their support throughout 2017, and introduced their new lead partner for the city.

The lawyers welcomed their clients and contacts to the firm’s annual social event, which was held at the conference centre of the Apex Hotel, to enjoy drinks and canapés.

Managing partner Graham Street gave a short welcome speech, reflecting on the successes of the previous year and the growth of the firm, which is ranked 85th in the UK Top 100.

He also looked to the year ahead and introduced Stuart Brazington who has been appointed as regional lead partner for Bath – a move which has been replicated in all four of the firm’s principal offices.

Stuart, who has worked at Royds Withy King in Bath for over 10 years, talked about the city’s prospects and the many regeneration projects that are underway, as well as his role in helping to develop new market opportunities and build on the firm’s community links.

Every two years, partners and staff from Royds Withy King vote for local charities to benefit from their fundraising activities, volunteering and practical support and Bath Mind is currently the firm’s local charity of choice.

Bath Mind chief executive, Kate Morton, spoke at the event about the important work that the charity does in the local area for those living with mental health issues and the practical ways in which businesses can collaborate to tackle community issues and make a real difference.
