Located on the southern edge of Bath, Sulis Down is a 171-home development.

Countryside opened its first show home and marketing suite at the site in May and to date has already sold over 20 properties.

Simon and Rachel are amongst the first official residents to move into the new housing.

The newly-married couple had been living and working in London for several years, but when Rachel was offered a new job opportunity in the Bath area, they both jumped at the chance to make the move out of the capital.

Sulis Down features a collection of two-bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five-bedroom houses.

Simon commented: “We are absolutely delighted with our new home. We love how spacious and practical all the rooms are and plan to use the spare two bedrooms as a home office and a guest bedroom.

“The second bathroom is perfect for when family and friends come to visit us for long weekends in Bath.”

He added: “The unique design and modern country style of the homes at Sulis Down was another major selling point for us. Made with natural Bath stone, the homes look beautiful and stand out against other new builds on the market.”

Darren Dancey, Managing Director, South West, Countryside commented: “We are pleased to welcome our first residents to Sulis Down and wish them the very best as they move into their new homes.

“Sulis Down is our first scheme in the South West region and we are very proud to be bringing much-needed high-quality homes to a stunning location on the edge of the historic city of Bath.

“We look forward to seeing the development grow into a thriving community over the coming months.

“Ideal for anyone looking for a well-located new home, Sulis Down is proving to be incredibly popular with buyers.

“We are continuing to receive a lot of interest in this development, so we advise anyone interested in the homes at Sulis Down to speak with the sales team to arrange a viewing.”
