Listed building consent is also being sought to convert the two first-floor offices at Piccadilly House at Piccadilly Place.

The proposals for a one-bed flat and one with two bedrooms have been lodged by Achieve Awesome Ltd.

The application says the proposed conversion has been carefully designed to respect the architectural and historical significance of the Grade II listed building.

The new apartments will share access with the existing units, increasing the total number of flats in the building to eight.

The application says that the office space was constructed in the 1970s/’80s and has no architectural or historical value.

The application includes the removal of the existing asbestos lean-to roof covering and roof window, to be replaced with new concrete tiles and roof windows, and the replacement of timber windows.

The deadline for comments is 19th December. The planning reference is 24/04187/FUL.
