Oak Furniture Land, the UK’s largest retailer of solid hardwood furniture, has announced the opening of its first showroom in Bath, on Saturday 28th April at 9.00am.

Spread over three floors, the 15,137 sqft furniture store is located on London Road and is one of the company’s first new stores to be based in a high street location.

The new showroom has created six new jobs and forms part of the company’s on-going expansion plans, which saw the retailer open 22 new stores last year.

The new Bath store will offer over 19 ranges – including its painted ranges Shay and St Ives, and new natural oak ranges, Romsey and Wiltshire.

The store will also feature a large range of sofas and armchairs, which all contain 100 per cent hardwood in the frames.

Jason Davies, Regional Manager at Oak Furniture Land said: “Our Bath store will be our fourth in Somerset and a particularly special one to add to our portfolio due to the high street location.

“The store features a great variety of our hardwood products, including a handful of brand new ranges that we’re delighted to showcase to our customers. We’re really delighted to be opening in Bath!”

Oak Furniture Land Bath is located in the former Multiyork store, at 4 London Road, Bath, BA1 6AE

It will be open Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm, Saturday from 9am to 6pm and Sunday from 10.30am to 5.00pm. (10.30 – 11.00 viewing only).
