Bath-based Epoch Wealth Management has strengthened its growing team of financial advisers with two new appointments to the Queen Square firm.

Ludvig Frick joins Epoch as an adviser from financial planning firm Barry Fleming and Partners in Newbury, where he was Head of Private Clients.

Prior to this Ludvig was a senior financial planner at the Citimark Partnership in Bristol and has wide experience advising both private and corporate clients.

Bilingual in English and Swedish, Ludvig is also an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) which is an international association for professionals who advise families on legal and financial matters.

Epoch also welcomes James Calvert-Jones, who is training to become a financial adviser after a successful career in financial risk management.

James joins the firm from Bath wrap platform provider Ascentric where he was interim Head of Risk. He was previously Risk and Controls Assurance Manager at Barclays in London.

Epoch founding partner Markas Gilmartin said: “It’s great to welcome more new faces to our expanding team of financial advisers.

“Ludvig has a wealth of experience advising both private and corporate clients so his expertise will be in great demand. His membership of STEP also means he’s well placed to advise clients with estate and inheritance issues.

“James also has many years’ experience working in the industry and we’re delighted that he has decided to change direction and train as an adviser with us. I know he’ll be a fantastic addition to the team.”
