The Bath Star Apartment has won the title for Best Hotel in Somerset in the recent HotelsCombined Recognition of Excellence Awards 2017, recognised for their outstanding customer satisfaction.
The Recognition of Excellence is an annual award announced in the first quarter of every year, with 2017 its inaugural year.
Centrally located in Bath, the luxurious Bath Star Apartment beat more than 1,275 other properties in Somerset available via HotelsCombined.
The Bath Star Apartment was originally shortlisted for the award due to outstanding customer satisfaction and averaging a rating of between 9 and 10 in guest reviews.
Contained within the entire first floor of a Georgian House, the apartment consists of an entrance hall, sitting room, kitchen, bathroom, double bedroom and small patio. Conveniently located close to the iconic Assembly Rooms and Royal Crescent, guests at Bath Star Apartments are only a few minutes walk from the city centre.

The Recognition of Excellence awards are chosen based on a unique methodology, making them the first hotelier award of their kind in the UK.
Winners are chosen following detailed analysis by a team of data experts of several customer feedback points including quality and consistency of guest reviews, customer ratings, the absence of recurring or unresolved issues, blogs, forums and social media posts.
