Lovehoney employs approximately 300 employees at the site in Newbridge and says the need has arisen to extend the building to accommodate a more efficient distribution service.

The planning application submitted to Bath & North East Somerset Council says the proposed single-storey extension to the west side will be “modest” and help ensure future growth.

It adds that it will have no detrimental impact on the Conservation Area or neighbouring properties.

There will be no increase in staff numbers and parking provision will remain unaffected.

The planning reference is 25/02084/FUL. The deadline for comments is 3rd July.
