Bath law firm Stone King is once again offering free information sessions to people considering separation or divorce as part of an annual awareness week.
The firm’s family law and mediation team are offering couples and individuals free half-hour appointments to discuss options and how they can help during what can be a very stressful time.
The sessions are part of a nationwide initiative coordinated by Resolution, a legal body made up of family law practitioners, to promote ways of managing a less stressful divorce or separation.
Sessions can be pre-booked at Stone King throughout Good Divorce Week, which runs from 29th November to 3rd December 2021.
This year’s awareness week aims to start a conversation around how parents can embrace a child-focused approach to separation.
Tracey Smith, Head of Stone King’s Family and Mediation team, says: “The last 18 months have been tough for many families, putting relationships under great pressure.
“Separation is a life-changing decision and where children are involved it’s so important to try and proceed in the most amicable way possible and with the children’s interests at the centre.
“Our information sessions offer an opportunity for couples or individuals considering divorce or separation to have an initial conversation about possible ways forward and how we can help to minimise any stress and impact on children.”
Free half-hour appointments must be pre-booked in advance with Stone King.
