Kingsmead Square is hosting a mini Christmas Market on Saturday 12th of December between 10am and 5pm, organised by Emma Savage, of Grace & Ted, and Piers and Sophia Milburn of The Kingsmead Kitchen.
Stalls will be selling arts and crafts, fresh flowers, a beautiful array of Christmas gifts and locally made food.
Listen to live music from great local musicians whilst you wander around the stalls and enjoy the relaxed festive atmosphere under the twinkling lights that adorn the Square’s London Plane tree.
The Kingsmead Kitchen’s vintage tractor barbecue will be there again, offering delicious burgers which are 100% homegrown on their farm. As well as this, they’ll have mulled wine and freshly roasted chestnuts.
Enjoy a mince pie from The Bath Coffee Company, a speciality hot chocolate at Society Cafe and as the evening draws in, a quiet cocktail at Kingsmead Square’s newest bar The Dark Horse, previously The Kilted Chef.
Children and adults alike are invited to meet Father Christmas who will be joining us in the Square to spread festive cheer at 2pm.
Emma Savage said: “We can’t wait for our second Christmas mini-market and know it’s going to be even better than last years!
“Kingsmead Square is a perfect spot for events and it’ll provide locals and tourists with a more relaxed shopping experience away from the buzz of the busy Christmas market. We hope everyone will join us for festive jolliness!”
Piers Milburn, co-owner of The Kingsmead Kitchen added: “Christmas in Bath is always very special and our Kingsmead mini-market promises to encapsulate that truly magical Christmas feeling, from the smell of roasting chestnuts to meeting Father Christmas himself, this will be a delightful and delicious day for the whole family.”
