Bath-based HPH Commercial Property has successfully raised thousands of pounds for local charity Dorothy House Hospice Care, after selecting them as their Charity of the Year.
HPH Commercial Property has been raising money for the charity over the last 12 months.
Staff at the company, which is based on Kingsmead Square, have completed a range of fundraising activities for the hospice, which cares for people with life-limiting illnesses as well as their families and carers in Bath and North-East Somerset, Wiltshire and Somerset.
The team at HPH raised over £5,000 for Dorothy House including match-funding from the company.
The most recent fundraising event for the company was taking part in Bike Bath. HPH entered a team of 12 cyclists into the event last month.
Lindsay Holdoway, Managing Director of HPH Ltd said: “As a company, we are pleased to have raised such a significant amount of money for this important local charity.
“Many of our lives have been touched by the work of Dorothy House and we know that many more will. It is an amazing place and we are very fortunate to have such a leading hospice in this area.
“Although we will be supporting another charity next year we will continue to support Dorothy House and the work it does to provide end of life care for patients and support for their loved ones and carers.”
Corporate Fundraiser for Dorothy House Henrietta Beard added: “The fundraising work by Lindsay and the team at HPH Ltd has been fantastic over the past year and the keen cyclists amongst them have raised significant funds by participating in the perennially excellent local event, Bike Bath.
“Moreover, the matchfunding contribution by HPH will make a massive difference to the overall total raised and I am absolutely delighted with their support.
“I wish them the best of luck with their new chosen charity who are very lucky to have HPH on board.”
