Bath’s new neighbourhood, already comprising 60 ‘classically-designed’ homes has moved onto phase two of the development, and the first few houses in the second phase are literally rising from the ground and can be seen at the Holburne Park site.
A total of 50 new homes are planned in phase two, being built in stages. There will be a selection of the popular ‘Coates’ house style which is a 4 bedroom home with Georgian proportions built over 3 floors.
In addition, there will be the brand-new ‘Finch’ style also available for the first time; a home spread over 3 floors with a contemporary open-plan living area in addition to a first floor drawing room.
Over the past few months, the site has been a hive of activity getting all the ground work underway, with construction company JJ Rhatigan delivering the infrastructure, including drainage, new roads and foundations in place for the new homes.
Bect Building Contractors, who were recently appointed as the lead construction contractor for phase two, are now in full swing constructing the houses from the ground up.
Francis Firmstone, director of Hardrock Developments Ltd said: “This is a really exciting time as we see the next phase of Holburne Park starting to take shape, with the new, larger properties being added to what is starting to feel like a vibrant, new community.”
Vicky Dudbridge a Director at Savills, added: “The site is in a wonderful location, with its combination of stunning views and easy access to both the city and the countryside, which has made us all the more determined to create homes of the quality and style that match their beautiful surroundings.”
Phase two properties are on the market and potential homeowners can book an appointment to visit the development and consider what life could be like at Holburne Park.
The newly opened four-bedroom show home offers the chance to see inside and get a feeling for the area.
There are also three properties remaining for sale from phase one including a two-bedroom, three-bedroom and a four-bedroom house ranging from £525,000 – £955,000.
