Award-winning local developer Kersfield has announced plans to convert 1 Sion Hill Place, a Grade I Listed Georgian townhouse in Bath, into seven luxury apartments.
Built between 1818-1820, Sion Hill Place is a Georgian terrace in the Lansdown area of Bath; designed by renowned architect John Pinch whose other works include Babington House and the Gainsborough Hotel.
The notable terrace was recently featured in the Sunday Times Home supplement as ‘one of the top 10 best streets in the UK’.
David Newton, Kersfield CEO, commented: “Conversion of this historically significant townhouse will add quality housing stock to the Bath property market and gives us the fantastic opportunity to combine classic architecture with sympathetic modernity in this exclusive residential area of Bath”.
Bath-based Nash Consultancy have been appointed as project architect and will be submitting the planning application to Bath and North East Somerset Council on behalf of Kersfield, with work expected to commence in Autumn this year.
