Gentleman’s Day at Bath Racecourse, which takes place Saturday 10th September, looks set to repeat the excitement of Ladies’ Day and will give male race fans the chance to dress to impress.
The best dressed gentleman will be crowned front runner in the style stakes and will win a host of fantastic prizes including a £250 cash prize, a Jaguar for the weekend from Guy Salmon Jaguar, a £250 voucher for Slaters, Wingman skincare hamper, Kiehls skincare hamper, Sekkia Watch, a meal for four at Bath Pizza Co., and a Rainbow Casino ‘night out’ including £50 voucher and a meal for two.
Rainbow Casino is the Official Raceday Sponsor and will be running a fun casino on the Roof Garden of the new Langridge grandstand during the day.
Bath Racecourse’s Best Dressed team will be roaming the site taking photos of well-attired gentlemen which will then go to a public text vote to see who will be the lucky winner of the Best Dressed competition.
Jo Hall, Executive Director at Bath Racecourse said: “This is the first year that we are hosting a day that puts the focus on the stylish gents, giving them the chance to shine in the fashion stakes.
“The city is renowned for its metropolitan fashion and we can’t wait to see some sharp dressing on the day. We are looking to find a style king to equal Mary Heron who was our style queen at Ladies’ Day.
“Gentleman’s Day is also the inaugural Bath Summer Stayer’s Final with a minimum prize fund of £15,000. This race is the final of the series. With seven races and a haul of great prizes to make any chap happy, Gentleman’s Day is sure to be a big hit.”
Gates open 12pm with the first of seven races starting at 2:10pm.
