The popular Grillstock smokehouse restaurant in Bath has an uncertain future, after the chain went into administration last week as it continues its search for a buyer.

The Grillstock branch in Bath opened in the Vaults area of the SouthGate shopping centre back in June 2014 and has proved to be a popular destination, gaining many five-star reviews.

The company is continuing to trade as usual while looking for a buyer for the Grillstock chain, but said that as of Friday 17th November, Gareth Roberts and Paul Ellison of KRE Corporate Recovery LLP were appointed the Joint Administrators of Grillstock Limited.

The chain currently has restaurants in Bath, Bristol, Leicester and Walthamstow.

Earlier this year Deliveroo, the on-demand food delivery company, revealed that the pulled pork from Grillstock in Bath was one of their most popular dishes in the area.
