Previously trading as Farleigh Road Farm Shop at Norton St Philip, the building has undergone a major transformation since July before officially opening as ‘Flourish at Farleigh Road’ this month.

The first Flourish, based at Glenavon Farm, opened in Saltford in 2021 as a people and planet-focused destination to eat and shop, working with wholesale partner Cotswold Fayre – one of the first B Corp-certified companies in the UK.

The Saltford Flourish Foodhall & Kitchen has continued to grow, opening Flourish Home & Lifestyle in 2022 and a Pottery Painting Barn in 2023.

On 1st July 2024, Flourish Foodhall & Kitchen acquired the business in Norton St Philip and work began to expand the shop and café.

The transformation includes a larger kitchen, new deli and butchery counters and a wide range of local and artisan fine food, with an improved car park for easier access.

Paul Castle, Flourish’s managing director, said: “It’s been an incredibly challenging time – opening a second site whilst continuing to trade at both locations – but to see it all come together makes it all worth it.

“The team have been amazing to continue to serve during this period and I can’t wait for more customers to be able to experience Flourish in this new location.”
