Continuing its ongoing expansion across the U.K, Dr. Martens has announce it will open its first store in Bath later this month, located on Union Street in the city centre.

The new store will feature classic Dr. Martens design elements as well as an extensive assortment of Dr. Martens seasonal collections.

Dr. Martens has always been a brand adopted and subverted by musicians, youth cultures and tribes.

Dr. Martens Bath will reflect the brands rich history and offer further consumer based events and meet-ups in the following weeks by working with a range of diverse individuals from the local community.

This will provide a platform for consumers to engage with the brand and express themselves and their city.

Emily Hall, UK Retail Marketing Manager, said: “By opening new stores in key locations across the UK, it allows the brand to continue to demonstrate a comprehensive range of products from our various categories.

“It also allows us to demonstrate the brands connection to music and youth subculture through an exclusive calendar of activations and unique events that anchor our stores in their local communities.”

Manchester-based architectural design firm Studio 0L3 undertook the store refit, which will ultimately employ eight members of staff upon its opening later this month.

The new store will join a host of new retail locations recently launched across the UK in the last 8 months including Reading, Chelmsford, Exeter, Dublin, Southampton and Aberdeen.

The exact date of opening and details of a special launch-gig will be announced soon.
