On-demand food delivery service Deliveroo is celebrating its fourth birthday in Bath by revealing some insights into the eating habits of local residents.

New data has shown that Saturday at 7.51pm is the most popular time for Bath’s residents to order Deliveroo.

Further data analysis has shown locals love Mexican food the most, followed by Thai and Italian.

The most popular dishes ordered in Bath include:

  • Chicken Tinga Burrito from Mission Burrito
  • Chicken Pad Thai from Thaikhun
  • Nutella Gelashake from The Real Italian Ice Cream Co Bath
  • Chicken Gyros Pita Wrap from Taka
  • Large Cod and Chips from Pollocks

Since its launch in Bath four years ago, more than 80 restaurants have signed up to the platform.

Deliveroo has created work for more than 70 people, with the majority of these being the Deliveroo riders. 60% of Deliveroo’s partners in the city are local independent restaurants.

Harison Foster, Regional Director of Deliveroo said: “Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted that our rapid growth in Bath over the past four years means that customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work.”
