The Curfew Pub in Bath is hosting a month of charity events on behalf of local charity, Dorothy House Hospice Care, with the Wadworth pub beginning its programme of activities on 1st August.

Activity kicks off on the 1st August with a launch event featuring the sounds of summer swing from James Lambeth Trio; a £1 charge on the door will go directly to Dorothy House.

In addition, on the night and throughout August, customers can tuck into some feel-good food with 50p from every burger sold going to the charity.

Following on from this on Friday 11th August the popular family run ‘Caribbean Kitchen’ will be bringing its own spicy blend to The Curfew with a pop-up menu, giving a percentage of sales from the night to Dorothy House.

A week later on 18th August the pub is asking guests to swot up and prepare for its charity Quiz Night (£2 entry) with some star prizes on offer.

Finally the month of activity concludes on 27th August with ‘Curfest’; where music lovers can enjoy a lively mix of bands, DJs, BBQ, Corkage pop-up wine bar, and ‘Hideout Bar’ to enjoy the summer sun.

Guests who feel lucky can also partake in the mammoth auction which is set to have some ‘big ticket’ prizes available for winners. The event is sure to be a great end to the charity month for The Curfew Pub.

Dorothy House is a local hospice that offers compassionate care and support for people in the community with a life-limiting illness; the charities focus is on quality of life, and end of life care.

They give care and support to both patients and their families in Bath, north east Somerset and parts of Wiltshire and Somerset.

Emily, Business Partner at The Curfew Pub, said: “We are so excited to be able to run this month of charity events for such a worthwhile charity. Dorothy House has offered a lot of support to various families in the area and we are glad we can offer our support to them throughout August.”
