If you’re unsure which wine goes best with turkey and Christmas pudding, or the ideal bottle to give as a gift or to serve at a party, help is at hand thanks to the Corkage Wine Clinic in Bath.

The festive season is upon us once again so if you don’t know your Chablis from Champagne or a Rioja from a reindeer then help is at hand.

Marty Grant and Richard Knighting of Corkage are running a Christmas Wine Clinic at their Walcot Street site every Wednesday from 5.00pm to 7pm and Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 5.30pm until the big day.

Call in for a complimentary taster and one of the Corkage Christmas elves will help answer those drink dilemmas.

They’ll even be on hand to help with those last minute purchases on Christmas eve up to 5pm.

Marty Grant said: “More wine is drunk at Christmas than any other time of the year and lots of people head straight for favourites at the supermarket.

“We want to open up a whole new world of wine and encourage Bathonians to try something different this year.

“Not everyone knows we offer wine to buy and take away -we have over 200 bottles to choose from so we’re sure to find something to suit every palette and budget.”
