Businesses in Kingsmead Square to host mini Summer market in August

The newly formed Kingsmead Square Traders Association is set to host a Summer mini market on Saturday 13th August from 10-5pm, with local residents invited along to enjoy a selection of stalls and food and drink.

The stalls will be selling arts and crafts, artisan chocolate, retro clothing and much more.

Once again, The Dark Horse will be popping up in the Square with Pimms, punch and cold beers while Sarah and Alice from The Best of British deli on Broad Street will serve up a delicious BBQ.

Emma Savage, owner of Grace & Ted, said: “We’re really excited about our new Traders Association and we have big ideas for other events in Kingsmead Square.

“It is a bustling and vibrant part of the city with so many great independent shops, restaurants and cafes.

“It’s the perfect spot if you want to enjoy food and drinks ‘alfresco’ and we hope to see lots of people here soaking up the sun and good vibes!”
