Leading wealth management firm Brewin Dolphin has completed the acquisition of the assets of Bath-based Epoch Wealth Management, after announcing a takeover of the company back in April.
The new Bath office will be led by Epoch’s former managing partner, Barry Newbury.
Barry and his 37 colleagues from the financial planning firm will remain in their current office in Queen Square Place, under the Brewin Dolphin name.
Nick Fitzgerald, managing director of financial planning at Brewin Dolphin said: “With great demand for expert financial advice across the country, it’s fantastic to welcome Barry and his team.
“They built Epoch into a successful business trusted by their clients. We’re so pleased that they have joined us to continue their growth journey as part of one of the UK’s largest wealth managers.”
Barry Newbury, head of office, Brewin Dolphin (Bath) said: “We are excited we have become part of an integrated wealth management firm like Brewin Dolphin.
“We plan to go from strength to strength with ambitious growth plans with the same team that has served our Epoch clients so well for many years, but now with the support and resources of Brewin Dolphin.”
