Having opened its doors in August 2017, and gained a reputation for stocking some of the best craft beers in the UK, BeerCraft of Bath have now launched a campaign to open a tasting room.
Having been open for less than a year, BeerCraft of Bath is already well known for stocking some of the best craft beers being made in the UK and around the world.
Popular with locals and tourists alike, the store near Pulteney Bridge allows customers to browse hundreds of beers while sampling a selection of craft beers.
Davin Kenwood, owner of BeerCraft of Bath, explained: “We love it when a customer comes in and says ‘I don’t like beer!’, with a quick sample of one of the beers we have on tap, its easy to convert them into a beer lover, as craft beers are a world away from the traditional styles, with very little bitterness, and lots of fruity floral aromas.”
BeerCraft has a large basement that is currently being used as a store room. Not having been touched since the shop was a bakery many years ago, a campaign has now been launched to raise the money needed to convert it into a tasting room.
Davin continued: “The £11,500 we are hoping to raise through Crowd Funder, will enable us to convert the basement into a fantastic space to chill out with a beer, as well as using it to host tasting evenings, meet the brewer nights, brewing courses and even business meetings.”
BeerCraft are offering rewards in return for an investment. For £25 you can get 10% off beers in the shop forever and for £50, you can get a £50 voucher to spend on the beers that are on tap.
