Bath’s Slug and Lettuce is currently undergoing an extensive renovation, with the works set for completion on the 10th February, just in time for Valentine’s Day celebrations.

The transformation will add an extra layer of glamour, and will create 20 new jobs in the front of house, kitchen and management teams.

The £350,000 refurbishment will cement the venues’ position as the go-to place for those looking for brunch, a family dinner or a night out on the town with friends or colleagues.

Located on George Street, the venue will be decorated in the signature Slug and Lettuce style with minimal yet elegant décor and a light, bright colour scheme.

With the addition of a cocktail masterclass station to provide a great start to any night alongside a new-look outside seating area, a brand-new bar and additional seating including booths, the fresh venue will provide the perfect space for any ‘Get Together’.

Throughout the week, the bar will be offering deals for its customers, including 2-4-1 cocktails all day every day, and ‘Fizz Fridays’ where a bottle of Gancia Dry Prosecco will be just £13 or a Fizz Bowl sharer will be £17.

From Tipsy Tapas, a flight of three cocktails and the indulgent Baileys Iced Coffee Latte to the Giant Pornstar Martini, which is perfect for groups, the extensive cocktail list will leave no-one disappointed.

For those counting the calories, Gancia Leggero Prosecco has 75% less sugar but all the taste. What’s more, customers will also be able to try the new Absolut Lime, the latest addition to the core range of flavours, providing a refreshing citrus taste.

The vast food menu will also entice every palette with the Small Plates section offering everything from BBQ Pulled Pork Steamed Buns to Cured Meat Antipasti and Falafel Bites.

Richard Buck, General Manager at Slug and Lettuce Bath, said: “We can’t wait to open with a stylish new look.

“I’m particularly excited for the cocktail masterclass station, which is sure to be a hit for parties and larger groups looking for something a bit different!”
